5 of Amazons best-selling fitness trackers

Since purchasing one of Fitbit’s first ever fitness trackers in 2014, I have been following the latest fitness devices and watches.

Here are 5 of Amazon’s best-selling fitness devices in the UK from 2016:

FitBit Alta fitness trackers

1: Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker

This Fitbit Alta will give you similar functions to the older Fitbit Charge, but with a more stylish look. The charge was too bulky looking. The screen on the Alta is bigger and clearer, and you can also change the straps to suit your needs. You can choose rubber straps; leather or a stainless steel bangle. Amazon has priced them between £84.49 – £162.29.

FitBit flex 2 fitness trackers

2: Fitbit Flex 2 Fitness Wristband

The new Flex 2 is a lot slimmer than the Flex 1 and is also swim proof, making this the number one tracking device for swimmers. However, the only downside that would put me off upgrading to the Flex 2 is that it doesn’t measure your heart rate. A heart monitor might not be a necessity for some people, but for me, there is a history of heart problems in my family, and I will want this feature in my next fitness tracker or watch.

Letscom fitness tracker

3: LETSCOM Fitness Tracker Watch

This fitness tracker watch is a cross between a fitness tracker and a smartwatch, and for £29.95 it also looks great and has some impressive features. The screen on this impressive LETSCOM fitness tracker enables you to receive phone notifications, control your music, and even take photos by remotely controlling your smartphone. An important feature is the anti-lost setting where the fitness tracker will alert you if you leave your smartphone too far behind. You can also use the tracker to locate your phone,(another bonus if you are always misplacing your mobile)!

Fitbit blaze fitness tracker

4: Fitbit Blaze Smart Fitness Watch

I’m still debating on whether to buy a Fitness Blaze Smart Fitness Watch or an Apple watch which I can sync with my iPhone, iPad, and Macbook Pro. One of the things that have put me off buying a Fitbit blaze is the fact that there is no built-in GPS, so you still have to rely on using your phone, when it comes to tracking running and hiking. Surprisingly when it comes to battery life, the Fitbit Blaze has the edge on the Apple phone and price wise there more than a £100 hike in price between the two with Apple watches starting from £159.99 and Apple watches starting from £289.

Fitbit Flex fitness trackers

5: Fitbit Flex Wireless Activity Tracker and Sleep Wristband

I brought this Fitness tracker from Iwantoneofthese for £55 in the spring of 2014, and it also came with a small bottle of Lipton Ice Tea. At the time, I was taking part in Shaun T’s Insanity Workouts, and I was tracking the number of daily steps and calories that I was burning. I now use this mainly as a guide to track my sleep patterns and as an incentive to help me loose weight after suffering a back injury due to an assault. I have also recently purchased some new genuine bands from the Fitbit website in Green, purple and pink.

As well as the above, there are plenty of different fitness trackers to suit all tastes and needs. Make sure you read up on these, so you choose the right one for you.

You can purchase the latest fitness trackers from lots of online and offline stores including Amazon. Do you own a fitness tracker? Tell us about your experiences good and bad in the comments below. Tweet us a picture of your device @DigitalClassic.
