Top 5 Most popular YouTubers in 2016

Recently I’ve been watching a lot of famous YouTubers, and I would love to make good video content just like them.

Their lives appear to be so much more interesting, and they get to do lots of fun cool things. However, unlike me, they seem to have a lot of disposable income when it comes to going to places and buying lots of clothes and equipment for their Vlogs.

Here are the five most popular YouTubers of 2016 with the most subscribers:

5: #Jennamarbles

Jenna Mourney is a YouTuber who uploads a fun mixture of vlogs and comedian videos. She has over 15.5 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

4: #Nigahiga

Ryan Higa is a well known YouTube comedian, which has given him over 19 million subscribers. The 26-year old who was born in Hawaii has been making videos since 2006, earning him around $2,700 every day ($985,000 a year).

SMOSH is an American web-based sketch comedy duo consisting of Ian Andrew Hecox and Daniel Anthony Padilla, commonly called Anthony, both aged 29. Anthony began posting flash animations on Newgrounds in 2003, under the name Smosh. His friend Ian Hecox later joined him. They started posting videos on YouTube in the autumn of 2005 and became one of the most popular channels on that site, gaining 22 million subscribers.

Germán Alejandro Garmendia Aranis, known by his YouTube channels HolaSoyGerman. and JuegaGerman, is a Chilean YouTuber, comedian, musician, singer, and writer. He uploaded his very first YouTube video in the Autumn of 2011 after he was encouraged by a friend. He now has over 30 million subscribers on his channel.

PEWDIEPIE is the most watched YouTuber of 2016. His real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is a 27-year-old Swedish man born on 24 October 1989). The Swedish web-based comedian and video producer is best known for his Let’s Play commentaries and vlogs on YouTube. The highest paid YouTuber almost deleted his main YouTube account Yesterday evening, following an argument over changes to social media’s second largest platform. Pewdiepie claims that newer videos aren’t getting as many views – and this could affect YouTubers who make money from creating videos.

However, luckily, he accidentally deleted a different account and viewers can still enjoy his videos.

I was surprised by this list, which was put together on YouTube. My personal favourite YouTubers include; Casey Neistat, Zoella, Ebony and Alfie Deyes.
